27 June to 20 July:
A Bad Year for Tomatoes
The famous actress Myra Marlowe has retired to a small New England town for some peace and quiet, to write her autobiography -- only to find out that the town's collection of nosy neighbors and busybodies are a constant distraction. In an effort to scare them off and regain her privacy, she invents a homicidal "sister" who is kept locked upstairs, but who occasionally escapes to frighten away neighbors who are overstaying their welcome. But the plan backfires, and things go hilariously awry.
