The Unexpected Guest

A stranger lost in fog finds what appears to be a grisly murder. As the ghosts of the past wrong begin to emerge, a tangled web of lies reveals family secrets and chilling motives, where the real murderer turns out to be the greatest mystery of all.

Adapted by Mountain Community Theater from the novel by Valentine Davies. Based upon the Twentieth Century Fox motion picture Miracle on 34th Street

This is a tale that we want to believe in, that creates a world we seem to desperately desire, free of the blatant commercialism that surrounds us, where love and decency and generosity of spirit are their own rewards. What we want Christmas to be all about.

Afflicted: Daughters of Salem

Tells the story of the Salem girls -- Abigail Williams, Ann Putnam, Mercy Lewis, Mary Warren and Betty Parris, and the events that led up to the infamous Salem witch trials. This origin story examines how these teenage girls became accusers and caused 20 people to be put to death for witching.

Hardman & Jaye Fundraiser Concert


Hardman & Jaye are coming to LMP to help us raise funds for a new sound board! Recently they have appeared at Laurel Main Street Festival and Riverfest and are popular artists in the surrounding area. They are an acoustic duo specializing in oldies, rockabilly, country, classic rock, and whatever the spirit moves them to play!

Come to LMP Sunday, September 15th at 3pm and enjoy their music! Afterwards we are gathering at Olive on Main to continue the party!
